Because of the ongoing and evolving COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 NBER-NSF Seminar in Bayesian Inference in Econometrics and Statistics meeting has been moved online.
Welcome to the 2020 NBER-NSF Seminar on Bayesian Inference in Econometrics and Statistics (SBIES) homepage.
Dates: ONLINE Friday-Saturday, August 7-8, 2020.
Hosted by: Olin Business School, Washington University in St. Louis.
The aim of the meeting is to feature presentations by young and established researchers working on the theory and application of Bayesian methods in econometrics and statistics. As usual, the meeting should be an exciting and productive forum for researchers in these areas.
This year, the conference will be an online event using Zoom. In order to accommodate participants in various time zones, the meeting will be held from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7th and from 8:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. on Saturday, August 8th (US Central Daylight Time).
Paper submissions must be received by JULY 15th.
Program of the meeting has now been posted, but registration for attendance will remain open until August 5.
