emigrated there from California in 1970 ...

Before coming to the Olin School, Ray taught
at Cleveland State University and Roosevelt University. His Ph.D. is from the University of Illinois at Chicago, his MBA from Michigan State University, and his Bachelor's Degree from the University of California at Santa
Barbara. Prior to
academic life, Ray was a consultant in food service facilities design and
management for education, health care, and government.
