7th Annual Conference on Corporate Finance

November 18-19, 2010

Following the successes of the six previous corporate finance conferences, Olin Business School at Washington University along with its Center for Finance and Accounting Research (CFAR) will be co-hosting the 7th Annual Corporate Finance Conference on November 18-19, 2010, at the Washington University in St. Louis campus.

The topics of interest for the conference are broad, and include corporate investment decisions, capital structure, payout policy, mergers and acquisitions, corporate control and organization, corporate governance, private equity, banking and financial intermediation, and international issues in corporate finance. This is not an exhaustive list. Empirical and theoretical papers in these, and other related topics are most welcome.

If you wish to have your paper considered for presentation at the conference, please submit the paper electronically by June 30, 2010, to the website:

Deadline extended to July 6 at 5:00 PM

There is a $25 submission fee for each manuscript. Questions regarding the submission process should be directed to Jenn Schmich (schmich@wustl.edu).

The organizing committee is co-chaired by Radhakrishnan Gopalan and Ohad Kadan. Those submitting papers will be informed of the committee's decision in early September.

The conference organizers will pay room and board expenses during the conference for those participating in the conference as a presenter, discussant, or chairperson, but participants are responsible for their own travel expenses. We look forward to an exciting conference and hope you will submit your paper for consideration.
