This is the home page of the 2016 NBER-NSF Seminar on Bayesian Inference in Econometrics and Statistics (SBIES).
The meeting takes place on Friday-Saturday, April 29-30, 2016, and is hosted by the Department of Economics of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and co-sponsored by the Penn Institute for Economic Research (PIER) and the Warren Center for Network and Data Sciences. The aim of the meeting is to feature presentations by young and established researchers working on the theory and application of Bayesian methods in econometrics and statistics.
As usual, the meeting should be an exciting and productive forum for researchers in these areas. The conference will begin at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 29, 2016 and conclude at 5:00 pm on Saturday, April 30. Dinner on Friday, and breakfast and lunch on Saturday, will be provided as part of the conference.
If you plan to submit a paper please register and submit your paper by February 22. The program will be posted by March 15.
If you would like to attend the conference without presenting a paper you can register until April 15.
