This is the home page of the 2014 NBER-NSF Seminar on Bayesian Inference in Econometrics and Statistics (SBIES). The meeting takes place on Friday-Saturday, May 2-3, 2014 at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business Gleacher Center, 450 North Cityfront Plaza Drive, Chicago, IL 60611.
The aim of the meeting is to feature presentations by young and established researchers working on the theory and application of Bayesian methods in econometrics and statistics. As usual, the meeting should be an exciting and productive forum for researchers in these areas.
The conference will begin at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 2, and conclude at 5:00 pm on Saturday, May 3, 2014. Dinner on Friday, and breakfast and lunch on Saturday, will be provided as part of the conference. There is no conference fee.
If you plan to participate, please register and submit your paper by March 31. The program will be posted by April 8.
There are many hotels within easy walking distance of the Gleacher Center. There is no conference hotel.
