SBIES Conference: April 29-30, 2016 - University of Pennsylvania

This is the home page of the 2016 NBER-NSF Seminar on Bayesian Inference in Econometrics and Statistics (SBIES).

The meeting takes place on Friday-Saturday, April 29-30, 2016, and is hosted by the Department of Economics of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and co-sponsored by the Penn Institute for Economic Research (PIER) and the Warren Center for Network and Data Sciences. The aim of the meeting is to feature presentations by young and established researchers working on the theory and application of Bayesian methods in econometrics and statistics.

As usual, the meeting should be an exciting and productive forum for researchers in these areas. The conference will begin at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 29, 2016 and conclude at 5:30 pm on Saturday, April 30.

If you would like to attend the conference without presenting a paper you can register until April 15.

The conference will take place in the ARCH Building, which is located on the intersection of Locust Walk and 36th Street (which is a "walk" between Walnut and Spruce Streets). You should enter the building from the 36th Street Walk entrance. There will be a registration desk on the first floor and the sessions will take place in Room 208 on the second floor.

Important logistical information for conference participants is provided [here].
