Email -- Microsoft Entourage

These instructions assume that you have never setup any email accounts in Microsoft Entourage
Setup Instructions

1. Choose Tools then Accounts. Click the drop down menu next to New and select Exchange.

2. Click the Configure account manually button on the bottom of the Account Setup Assistant Window.

A. Enter Olin for the Account Name.

B. Enter your personal information in the appropriate fields.

C. Under Server information enter your Olin username, for the Domain enter olin.wustl.edu, and then your Olin password.

D. The exchange server is mail.olin.wustl.edu.

E. Place a check mark in the box in front of "This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL)

Click OK

4. If you want to be able to look up email addresses from the Olin Directory, please follow the following instructions.

Back at the Accounts Window, click the drop down menu again, but this time choose Directory Service.

Name the Account (Depending on what you named your Email Account above, you may not be able to use Olin again)

Enter wub-dc01.olin.wustl.edu for the LDAP server

Check "This server requires me to log on" option, then enter your Olin username and password in the appropriate spots. Note the Olin\username format.

Click the button "Click here for advanced options"

5. Place a check mark next to Override default LDAP port: Verify that the port is set to 389. Click the little box in the upper left corner to close the window.

6. Choose the Options tab at the top of the window.

Enter dc=olin,dc=wustl,dc=edu in the search base field.

Note: There are no spaces between any of the commas.
