You can connect to the lab network printers with your laptop and print documents. You will be charged for printing using your laptop, the same as you are when using a lab or library computer. Information about printers and costs are available online.
PrintLAB is the print server for all of our lab printers. PrintLAB has the ability to remain up and available for printing during maintenance.
Faculty, staff, and PhD students also have their own print servers -- PrintFS for faculty/staff printers and PrintPHD for PhD printers. Setup instructions are the same, only the printer address will change. We will be adding links to the necessary printer addresses soon.
Internet Printing
Per feedback from our users, we've enabled Internet Printing on the server, resulting in fewer steps needed to print. After you add the printers to your laptop and are connected to the campus network, wired or wireless, you will be able to print.
Off-Campus Printing: If you want to setup your printers and/or print from off-campus, you must first connect using the VPN Client. The VPN is NOT required for printing on campus.

Two methods of adding printers for Internet Printing are available for Windows users. One uses the browser, the other requires you to manually add the driver and printer. The browser method only works with the black and white HP printers. To add the color printers, you must use the manual process.
