Virus Information

Everyone should have software installed to protect your computer from viruses, spyware, and other malicious software!

We recommend that you download and install Microsoft Security Essentials on your PC. This is the personal version of the software we use on all of our systems at Olin. It is available at no cost.

Download Microsoft Security Essentials

If you live in University Housing, you also have the option to download and install Symantec Endpoint Protection (Windows) or Symantec AntiVirus (Mac OS X). Visit the ResTech web site for download links.

Update your antivirus software!

Security software doesn't do any good unless it is up-to-date. Make sure your software is set to automatically update.
