Olin Business School Diploma and Awards Ceremony - All Graduates
Caps and Gowns
An important tradition of the graduation ceremony is the academic regalia. By now you should have reserved your regalia with the Campus Store. Announcements and diploma frames are also available for purchase at the Campus Store. For questions, call the Campus Store customer service desk at 314-935-8188.Please refer to the commencement Web site http://commencement.wustl.edu/bookstore.html for additional information.
Guests
There is no limit to the number of guests you can bring and there is no charge for guests to attend. The Field House is quite large and can easily accommodate all of your guests. No tickets are needed for Olin's ceremonies.Parking
Parking is difficult on Commencement Day so plan to carpool and arrive early. The campus is very crowded throughout the day, so allow extra time to get to the events. We recommend that you park nearest to the area where you will finish your day. The best parking for access to the Olin Graduation Ceremonies will be in the Snow Way Garage (enter off Big Bend at Snow Way) or the Millbrook Garage (enter off Forest Park Parkway). From the Snow Way Garage, you can easily walk to the Athletic Complex from the top level by following the posted signs. MetroLink, the St. Louis light rail system, is an alternative to driving to the University. If MetroLink is convenient to your hotel or home, it is recommended that you use it. Exit at the Skinker Station, which is located just east of the Brookings Hall parking lot to attend the All-University Commencement Ceremony. Exit at the University City-Big Bend Station, which is at the corner of Forest Park Parkway and Big Bend Blvd., for a short walk to the Field House/Athletic Complex to attend the Olin Diploma and Awards Ceremony. MetroLink information is available at http://www.metrostl.org.Photographs
A photograph will be taken of you the moment you receive your diploma from Dean Gupta, and then again to the left of the stage. Grad Trak Graduation Images will mail a digital proof to your permanent address about one week following the ceremony. Any prints you order will be mailed to you. You are under no obligation to buy any prints. Even if you do not order photos, you may keep your digital image.Prior to the ceremony, you'll be asked to confirm the accuracy of your name and post-graduation address. Be sure to pick up your name card at the tables just inside the entrance of the Athletic Complex Francis Gym! The card has two purposes: it shows your name as it will be read during the ceremony and your post-graduation mailing address where the photographer will mail your proof and any photos that you may order.
