Olin Business School – Becoming Alumni

Congratulations on your new status as an Olin Business School and Washington University alum. Below are several friendly reminders to help you stay connected:

I. Set up your alumni account
Gain access to the alumni directory, career connections, email forwarding and so many more benefits and resources - including a network of more than 110,000 alumni - just by setting up your alumni account. To take advantage of all this special community has to offer, visit www.alumni.wustl.edu and click on the NEW USER link (on the top right of the page) to establish your user name and password, using your alumni ID. NOTE: You cannot create your account until your alumni ID is e-mailed to you, which is usually generated four-six weeks after Commencement.

II. Update your contact information
Your commitment to stay connected to Olin will help maintain the strength of our alumni network. Keeping your contact information up-to-date ensures you stay abreast of current program news and receive OlinBusiness magazine. You can also update your employer information and report any personal milestones (e.g., engagements, marriages, births, etc.), for inclusion in the Class Notes section of the magazine. Click here to provide updates.

III. Engage via our social networking and Web sites
Visit any of the various WU and Olin Web sites to find out about upcoming alumni gatherings and the latest initiatives, reunion programs and regional events. Or engage fellow alumni via the formal groups that have been established just for Olin Business School alumni on LinkedIn and Facebook. This is just one more way Olin is helping you build your network and make good career connections.

IV. Participate through our nationwide network of alumni clubs
Over the years, Washington University Clubs have been created to establish and maintain a meaningful connection between alumni, parents, and friends of WU through social, cultural, and educational events. We have 26 clubs throughout the United States, none of which require membership dues.

Olin Alumni Clubs have formed in Chicago and New York City. Click here to view Olin Alumni Club event information or contact the Olin Alumni Office at (314) 935-9209.

Club programs are organized to appeal to the interest and needs of the majority of the members in the area - including featured content from University professors or alumni who share their expertise on specific subject matter. Click here to view information about the club closest to you, and click on Regional Events.

V. Volunteer/network at alumni events
We are always looking for volunteers, especially to assist in planning reunions and other alumni-specific programs. To learn more, please contact the Olin Alumni Office by calling (314) 935-9209.

We look forward to seeing you soon at an event in your area!
